Step One: Send in my application
All I needed to do is mail in the hard copy of my application (I already emailed a copy to the organizers). This included proof of the following "L" Program requirements:

For all sessions - USDF Participating Membership
For sessions D1, D2 and final exam - 3 scores of 60% or higher at Second Level or above, from three different USEF-licensed judges. Only scores from USDF/USEF competitions will count and freestyles/young horse classes do not count.

...and pay.
Step Two: Paying
The Utah Dressage Association cleverly created a Paypal account for Program participants and auditors to pay for the sessions. For anyone who has mailed a check to try and get into a clinic, you will understand the instant gratification of clicking the enter key on your computer and knowing that no potential participant's payment had gotten there while yours was in transit.

To top that: They allowed participants the option of paying in installments! Instead of paying the $2,200 in session feeds all at one time, we are allowed to pay $525 now and the other 3 payments in installments throughout the six sessions.

Now, all I need to do is:
Get cleared by the USDF to order my "L" Program binder. Decide if I want to buy a hard copy of the binder or the flash drive. Order my "L" Program binder. Get my plane tickets. Book my hotel. Rent a car. Reschedule my clients around the time I will be away. Make sure my own animals are taken care of. Read the first session's material and do the homework that is due by the first weekend of the Program. Pack. And hope that I haven't forgotten anything on this list...
