Annie Morris: My Equestrian Life in Portugal During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Part 2
In this article, Annie Morris shares an update on her life in Portugal while explaining some helpful dressage exercises ridden on long lines that focus on alignment.
Annie Morris was horse crazy from the beginning and found herself attracted to dressage from a young age. She has spent her career searching for the beauty and harmony that turn every ride into an art form. She began her journey in the west then moved to New York to work with Lendon Gray and now she is based at Cloverlea Dressage, LLC, with Beth Baumert, in Columbia, Connecticut, and Loxahatchee, Florida. Annie has trained, shown and taught horses through Grand Prix, has her USDF gold medal, is a USDF Certified Instructor though FEI Level and a member of the faculty for the USDF Certified Instructor Program. This spring, Annie has traveled to Germany to train at Hof Börnsen for six months with Judith Allmeling and Sven Dapper.
