D-1 in Nampa, Idaho

Greetings from Nampa, Idaho!

Before entering Part 2 of the L Program, I was REALLY nervous about the term “closed to auditors”. I thought it meant that things were so intense that no one would be allowed in, unless they were willing to enter the Program – a little like being jumped into a gang.

After the first day of D-1, I was relieved to learn that it is quite a lot like Part 1 without the auditors. Of course, the expectations were higher because we know more now. However, we were not beaten for not knowing the right answer all the time. AND, our performance in this section does not affect our scores in the Final Exam (the way that the D-2 does).

As you can tell, I thought this would be worse than it was.

Of note: My scribe was not needed after about 2:30 on the first day, so make sure you have a back-up plan for their travel/entertainment. If possible, I will make sure he has a flexible return plane ticket for the next session.

The schedule might change between D-1 sections, because you are really a slave to the show’s schedule. However, this is a rough idea of what it consists of (based on our schedule):
