Inside Rein to Outside Leg Connection with a Grade IV Para Dressage Rider

Top international dressage rider and Olympic silver medalist Adrienne Lyle works with a Grade IV para dressage rider on improving the connection from her inside leg to outside rein.

After the warmup, Adrienne and the para dressage rider begin to work on the canter. They work on spiraling in and out in the canter to help improve the connection with the inside leg and outside rein. There are moments where she can relax her inside rein and the horse does not change his balance, indicating he is moving honestly off the inside leg. They finish the ride with the first parts of her test.
