Day 10: Always Be Ready to Ride

It’s probably happened to most of us at least once. Work lets out early, or your errands take you to that side of town, and you find yourself close to the barn and with time to ride. But your skirt and heels won’t make for comfortable riding attire. Sure, you could drive all the way home and change, but that takes time you don’t have, so you skip it. Don’t miss these golden opportunities! Keep a duffel bag of riding clothes in your car. It can be those stained breeches or those boots with a hole. They’ll do for the surprise riding session you didn’t know you’d be able to have. Just keep your gear clean and you won’t have to explain to your boss why your car smells like a barn on your next business road trip!
