Jochen Schleese Saddle Fitting Tip 8 – Saddle Tree Angle

Saddle Tree/Shoulder Angle: The panel tree points should be parallel to the shoulder angle to position saddle properly.

For a proper saddle fit, your saddle must be at a correct saddle tree angle so it will not pinch your horse’s back. Your horse will feel uncomfortable with an improper saddle tree angle.

Jochen Schleese, Certified Master Saddler and Saddle Ergonomist developed the Saddlefit 4 Life 80 point diagnostic evaluation to help you and your horse achieve optimal saddle fit! Book a Saddlefit 4 Life Educational event for your group!
