Riders can cheer on their fellow regional members as they compete for the Fifth Annual Regions Cup Team Competition. With a regional team of three athlete/horse combinations representing each USDF region, competitors can show their regional pride and compete for bragging rights as the top-scoring eligible open and adult amateur athlete/horse combination from Training/First Level and FEI-level Regional Championship classes. The winning team is determined by averaging the highest final scores achieved by each athlete/horse combination in their respective US Dressage Finals class.

Competitors can also compete for one of the High Score Breed Awards at the US Dressage Finals. Each participating breed organization offers four awards, two awards for high score adult amateur riders and two awards for high score open riders. The following US Equestrian recognized affiliates participate in the High Score Breed Awards (in alphabetical order):

American Connemara Pony Society

American Morgan Horse Association

American Saddlebred Horse Association

Arabian Horse Association

International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association
