Creative Dressage Schooling by Julia Kohl

Creative Dressage Schooling by Julia Kohl

Author and certified German National Federation trainer Julia Kohl brings readers practical exercises and advice in her new book Creative Dressage. Kohl realizes that many people don’t always have the opportunity to learn or ride “meaningful dressage work.” She says of these riders: “It doesn’t matter if they are young or old, or whether they occasionally ride dressage in between trail rides or are serious about lower-level competition—there still should be a point to their schooling and variety and interest to keep their horse engaged.” In Creative Dressage, Kohl offers upbeat patterns and exercises that add variety and challenge to everyday workouts. —Jennifer Mellace, editor
