Horses as our Shadow

I love the books that talk about the fact that horses are our mirror, that they can detect and reflect our moods. I have experienced this first hand with my own horses for sure. It makes perfect sense that a horse as a prey animal, can detect our moods and intentions. This is why making our everyday training sessions fun for our horses is so important. Showing up to the barn with the intention of enjoying your ride and having fun with your horse makes all the difference. Please share your stories of times when you have seen yourself reflected in your horse.
