Five-star eventer Ryan Wood coaches a Training-level horse and rider pair in a stadium-jumping session before an upcoming horse trials. They practice a figure-eight exercise with an oxer in the center of the figure. Ryan explains about being patient to see another distance on the approach to the fence.    Ryan is a five-star eventer originally from Australia. In 2008, he moved to the U.S. and worked for Phillip Dutton before starting his own business, Woodstock Eventing, which is now based out of his and wife Lillian Heard Wood’s Lanefield Farm in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Ryan has become one of top eventers in the U.S. and is known for his successful cross-country record.
