Dressage Today Podcast: Interview with Michele Wellman

Season 2, Episode 16

Welcome to the Dressage Today Podcast, sponsored by the HorseWare Ireland. In this episode, Stephanie and Aviva share what they are grateful for from the past year and discuss what makes a good show scribe. Then they talk to Michele Wellman with whom Dressage Today OnDemand recently did a series of videos on her popular cavalletti clinics.

Michele is a full-time trainer and instructor at By Chance Farm in Union Bridge, Md. Sixteen years as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager allowed her to build By Chance Farm into the business it is today.

She has spent most of her riding career eventing through the Preliminary level on multiple horses, taking two to USEA Year End Awards and Area II Championships. In 2003, Michele started focusing on dressage a bit more. In 2011, she received her USDF Bronze medal and her Silver medal in 2015.

In addition to the cavalletti clinics, Michele hosts a series of popular dressage schooling shows and licensed shows throughout the year.
