In this episode of the Dressage Today Podcast, Aviva and Stephany interview Jennifer Mutchler, owner and operator of Half Pass Farm in Catlett, Virginia. She is our second Unsung Hero (formerly Hometown Hero; we liked “unsung” better!) and was nominated by Sandy Mueller. Jennifer is a USDF bronze, silver and gold medalist and has produced several different horses—and breeds—to the Grand Prix level. She is known for her keen eye and ability to match the right people with the right horses and also breeds and trains several warmbloods every year from her Virginia farm.

We really enjoyed chatting with Jennifer, especially after we discovered that she and Aviva share another connection—take a listen to find out!

In this podcast, Aviva also clarifies a question from a listener in a previous Ask the L segment about how to differentiate between professional and amateur dressage riders. Plus, Stephany and Aviva catch up on their recent various exploits and play “where in the world is Stephany?” as she records from a layover in an airport!
