Saddle Time

Leo is growing up fast, and seems to be growing bigger by the day! Congrats to my student Ashley who is now his new owner. During her lessons we are getting Leo ready for riding. Leo has spent three weeks prior in the barn working on saddling calmly and getting used to the tacking up process. Here Ashley takes him for a walk to teach him that walking with the saddle is fun and stress free. The intro. to a saddle is a big step for any horse, so make sure to take your time. Check him out in this picture, what do you think he is thinking?
