Sometimes the fun is in the small stuff


Have you ever taken the time to just hang out with your horse, and if so how long ago was it? Having no expectation other than just each others company is sometimes fun and very rewarding. I am fortunate to be able to do a good part of my own care with my horses, and so I get to spend time enjoying them from the ground and in the saddle both. My thoughts today remind me of a quote I once read from Pat Parelli. “A horse doesn’t care how much you know, until he knows how much you care.” How do you show your horse that you care?
